When it comes to summer, what’s gonna come to your mind first? Yes, like the tittle says, we are getting to know the 11 most beautiful beaches in Vietnam in this article. It is stated that, 80% of travellers spend their summer vacation on the beaches and the other 20% go to mountainous areas for trekking. The tropical beaches in South East Asia in general and in Vietnam in particular always have their own attraction to the foreign visitors.
1. Nha Trang Beach
It will be such a pity if Nha Trang does not open this list. Nha Trang is known as “The champion” of the Vietnamese beaches which has been most visited by the travelers over the lately years.
Located in the South Middle of Vietnam, the weather here is sunny and windy most time of the year that is appropriate for swimming and sunbathing. Spacious beach, clean blue water and white sand are typical things about Nha Trang beach. Sand is really comfortably soft. On a sunny day, the white sand and the fishermen’s boats on the sea make very stunning pictures and there are many ‘paintings’ in the scenery. It is highly recommended that you should take a walk along the beach in the evening to totally feel the peace and silence beside the low-key city across the street.
2. Cat Co 1,2,3 (Cat Ba)
Unlike other beaches, those three beaches are located on Cat Ba island -the World’s Biosphere Reserve which is not so far away from the land. It takes you about 1 hour to get there by boat. During that short journey, your mind will get blown by the gradual change of the scenary. Opposite to Nha Trang, Cat Co beaches are very small and narrow but the scenary has something very organized naturally and is like in postcards. The sand is white, the water is green and all are so clean and pure.
Cat Co 2 is the smallest but also the most favorite of the foreign tourists while the domestic prefer Cat Co 1 which is wider and more crowded. Cat Co 2 is so quite that you can hear the sound of the wind and waves. If you are a fan of peaceful beaches, I highly suggest you come on the week days when there are not so many tourists and the prices are reasonable. Let’s imagine you sitting on the sand, with a book beside you, in front of you are the green sea, around you are mountains and rock cliffs, you can hear the waves so clearly.
