Tour Program
In the morning, our guide will come to meet you at your hotel for the transfer to My Son, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Spend times to discover this area and return to Hoian town at noon.
Lunch near Hoi An town and continue exploring Hoi An on foot, from Hoi An Museum to Old merchants’ house, Assembly halls and Japanese covered bridge. Afternoon we continue:
• Visit Temple Kwan, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House/Phung Hung house, Japanese Bridge and cultural show rooms
• Walk to the old town, buy entrance tickets and begin the tour. Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market…
• After your walking tour, if you have free time, you can do shopping at the old town. Guide will take you back to the hotel. End of program.
