Around 8am, our guide will pick up from your hotel to start out for a short walk around colorful downtown in Yangon and drive to visit Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha is the most well-known Buddhist temple and 66 metres (217 ft) long.
After a stroll at the Maha Bandoola Park to see colonial-style high court and city hall, head to the Botahtaung Pagoda on the banks of the Yangon River is one of the city’s most highly revered temples. The 40 meter high golden pagoda enshrines a sacred hair relic of the Buddha.
The Nat pavilion holds an almost life size image of Bo Bo Gyi, who is believed to be the Nat spirit guarding the pagoda. Bo Bo Gyi is depicted as an old man wearing very colorful clothing.
Then explore in the BogyokeAung San Market (closed on every Mondays & official holidays) best known for its colonial architecture, inner cobblestone streets and wide selection of souvenirs.
In the evening, enjoy the sunset to the Great Shwedagone Pagoda built the most prominent monument in Yangon which dominates the sky with golden flash, giant spires and holy relics. Return to your hotel. Tour ends
