Tour Program

Day 1: Yangon Arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, after clearing immigration and customs and our guide will meet you with Welcoming Signage and then escort you to your hotel.
In the evening, enjoy the sunset to the Great Shwedagone Pagoda built the most prominent monument in Yangon which dominates the sky with golden flash, giant spires and holy relics.
Optional (65usd): And you have chance to participate in the local religious event of lighting 1000 oil-lamps on the pagoda plat form together with local pilgrims and receiving blessing.

Day 2: Yangon (B)

After breakfast, start out for a short walk around colorful downtown in Yangon and drive to visit Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha is the most well-known Buddhist temple and 66 metres (217 ft) long.
Then enjoy the water front of busy Yangon River on a public ferry ride to the opposite bank of the river for a glimpse into countryside lives in Myanmar. As you board the jetty, observe the colorful street market where locals come to buy and sell their wares.
In the afternoon, after a stroll at the Maha Bandoola Park to see colonial-style high court and city hall, head to the lively Indian Town and Chinatown, you’ll get a experience to a local tea shop for a chance to experience an integral part of Burmese life: drinking tea! Select from an array of snacks and enjoy a coffee or tea as you sit amid businessmen, friends and families who gather at the tea shop to socialize or conduct business.

Then explore in the BogyokeAung San Market (closed on every Mondays & official holidays) best known for its colonial architecture, inner cobblestone streets and wide selection of souvenirs.

Day 3: Yangon – Bagan (By Flight) (B)

Today, we leave from hotel about 4.30am for flight to Bagan.

Upon arrival Bagan, meet with our guide then visit a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; the Wetkyiin Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, as well as the elegant Htilominlo temple, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes; the Ananda Temple, with four huge standing Buddha images and Ananda Okkyaung, a small red brick monastery, one of the few received plants is next door from the time of the early Bagan. At the inner walls are designs from that 18. Continue to famous Dhammayangyi Temple, largest of all the temples and the widest temple in Bagan.

After lunch, transfer to your hotel for check-in and quick rest. This afternoon, continue sightseeing to Nat Taung Kyaung (Nat-taung Monastery, also known as Mya taung Taik), located in the vicinity of Taung-bi village. If time permit, you can explore in village to see the local life.

In the evening, enjoy your shooting sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Day 4: Bagan (B)

Optional: Early this morning, you might be interested in a hot-air balloon ride (at surcharge 300USD)
Early morning wake up and enjoy your shooting Golden Sunrise from Mei Nyein Gone Hill.
Then back to hotel. After Breakfast, we go first to Nyaung U Market. Then continue you will visit one of local village to discover the real life, how much different compare to other side of the world. Some candies or small gifts would be a great thing for local children.

This afternoon, pay a visit to lacquer ware handicraft, and enjoy a guided bicycle ride (or horse-card ride tour) among the ancient temples and villages. You will have photo tour to those distinguish temples in old Bagan.

Later, enjoy a private boat ride on Irawaddy River. You’ll observe how the local spend their time by the river and enjoy the Rum sour on the river.

Day 5: Bagan-Heho-Inle Lake (By Flight) (B)

Morning transfer to the airport to take the flight to Heho. Arrival at Heho airport, drive to Nyaung Shwe the gate way of Inle Lake about 1 hour. On arrival Nyaung Shwe and transfer to hotel in the lake by private boat.
Afterwards, visit to Phaung–daw-Oo Pagoda there have houses five small gilded images of Buddha, which have been covered in gold leaf to the point that their original forms cannot be seen; Hywa Ma village to see Padaung Tribe (long neck women) and silversmith workshop.

In the afternoon, visit to Inn Paw Khone weaving village, local blacksmiths workshops and Floating gardens of Hydroponics system (especially tomato, others vegetables) before back to hotel. Enjoy the sunset view at your hotel from the outlook sitting.
Dinner is suggested at your hotel’s restaurant on your own account, as there is no lighting system for boat operation in the lake in the evening.

Day 6: Inle Lake (B)

Today, visit a traditional 5-day-market of Inle Lake area. The 5-day market rotates around the villages and towns of Shan state, where several tribal people in their colorful costume come from the nearby villages to sell their indigenous agricultural products.

After that, you’ll be guided to a nearby village called Indein to enjoy a scenic trip up a narrow creek, visit the idyllic site of Indein with its 17th century ruins of pagodas in an ‘Indiana Jones’ type setting and stroll along the trail among the bamboo grove.

In Indein Village, if interested, pay a visit to a local kindergarten operated by The UNESCO where the kids are thrilled to see you and happy to invite you in to take a look.

After lunch, return to your hotel with balance of the day is free at your own leisure. Afterwards, pay a visit to the nearby Kaung Daing Village known for its tofu-making and other traditional snacks making. There are some interesting Shan temples just outside the village. If interested, travel a little north of the village to see a hot spring where you can take a bath. Back to the hotel by boat.
Dinner is suggested at your hotel’s restaurant on your own account, as there is no lighting system for boat operation in the lake in the evening.

Day 7: Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon, where you will continue with your departure connecting flight. Tour ends
