Hanoi Museum located on Pham Hung Street, Me Tri Commune, Tu Liem District, Hanoi, is considered to be one of the most modern art, architecture and culture in Vietnam museum system.

Hanoi Museum has spacious area with a total area of 54,000 m², 30.7 meters in height. The Hanoi Museum has 4 floors and 2 basements. The floor area is over 30,000m² with the main exhibition area of 14,000m² and the storage area of about 12,000m² and Outdoor gallery, garden about 25,000m².

The fourth floor of the museum has the largest area, and each floor above the floor compared to the floor below 5 m. The hall is designed in a circle and linked to the upper floors by a circular space. The hall main focus is a spiral ramp connecting all four floors, having an elevator system located at the top and bottom of the ramp. The second and third floors are for display. The fourth floor is to held meeting rooms, workshops, research, library, preservation, and collectibles. Specifically, the facades of the museum will decorate the traditional pattern of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the first floor will display the model of the dragon-shaped dragon, the Ly-Tran-Le relics; scientific photos, and materials about Thang Long Dai Viet and antique objects discovered in the Thang Long Royal Citadel.

The second floor displays Hanoi’s Thang Long period with the highlight of the Co Loa bronze drum and pictures of the three rings of Co Loa, An Duong Vuong.

On the 3rd and 4th floor display 10,000 antiquities selected from individual collections of objects associated with the capital, featuring ancient artifacts to show the development of the civilized culture of the people. On this occasion, a bonsai festival will also be held at the museum’s outdoor gallery.

Hanoi Museum is well-known for vivid and attractive exhibits in a vortex shape. At the center is the Dragon statue, surrounded by symbols in topics, namely, people, places, objects, events, all made of specific culture of Vietnam. Those exhibitions will focus on three main characteristics of the capital Hanoi, including the Constitution, Heroes and Peace, performing information systems introduced in a showcase.
