Saigon Central Post Office, located on Cong Doan street, right opposite Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, right at the heart of the city, is the ideal destination in the journey to discover the ancient beauty of Vietnam from 19th century. Designed by French architect Gustave Eiffel and completed in 1891, the Saigon Central Post Office is one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Vietnam. Taking a few minutes to admire the beautiful features of the building from the street outside, tourists will be impressed with the curved window rows, the big clock above the main entrance and red flag yellow stars, the very special characteristics of Vietnamese flag.
